Arvind Nair, Chairman of Carpediem Capital, brings over four decades of experience in operations and private equity investing, with a focus on retail and consumer products. He advises the investment team and provides strategic guidance to portfolio companies and their leadership. With experience as CEO of several Indian consumer businesses, he has developed a broad network of industry relationships.
His previous roles include Operating Partner at India Equity Partners, Managing Director at DLF Retail (mall development business), Global CEO of Jumbo Electronics, CEO of Domino’s Pizza India, and CEO of Amtrex Air Conditioners (now Hitachi).
At Domino’s Pizza India, he led the company’s turnaround from a loss-making business to a leading player in the food services sector. He also introduced key innovations in the Indian QSR industry, including the 30-minute delivery promise.
Arvind holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad.
