Pranav Gupta brings nearly two decades of private equity expertise, with career investments exceeding USD 150 million and successful exits on concentrated equity stakes. He specializes in sourcing, executing, structuring, and closing deals and has engaged institutional investors across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.
At Carpediem, Pranav has spent over a decade collaborating with partners—overseeing full investment cycles from origination through exit—to manage mid-market opportunities and drive strategic growth. As a founding member, he established core investment processes, supported initial fundraising, and leads direct investments, operational value creation, corporate governance, and ESG initiatives across consumer and B2B portfolios. Prior, Pranav served on the investment team at F.I.R.E. Capital Fund—India’s pioneering real estate PE firm with USD 200 million AUM—sourcing and managing assets for nearly four years. He began at VC-backed AbsolutData (an AI/ML analytics firm acquired by Infogain, US) and SmartAnalyst (a boutique consulting firm acquired by McKesson; NYSE: MCK), leading cross- functional teams for global blue-chip corporates and large US hedge funds.
He holds an MBA in Private Equity from London Business School and a B.Tech from IIT Delhi. In 2019, a leading alternative investment body distinguished him among India’s Top Under-40 Investment Professionals.
